Entertainer Guidelines

Artists and entertainers are the backbone of Art in the Alley. We welcome all artists and entertainers interested in sharing their art and enhancing community. Below is a list of guidelines for artists and entertainers.

  • Performances, skits, poetry, short stories, and songs should be performed with the understanding that this is an open event to all community members. Please be aware of the crowd you are performing to. We cannot tolerate graphic profanity, insensitivity, or inappropriate gestures.
  • Many entertainers would like the microphone, please be sensitive to the amount of time spent at the microphone. Please remember that everyone needs a chance to share their art and music. We will make every attempt to accommodate everyone who wants to perform. Sign up is required. Sign up sheets are on the sign board. We will do our best to blend the performances to balance all forms of entertainment. Time permitting we will do two rounds of performances.
  • We recommend that you speak with the Main Street Office prior to the event if you feel special arrangements need to be made to accommodate equipment.
